DESTINY 2: the witch queen

Sepulcher | Activity type: Lost Sector

Video walkthrough (external link)

This is the first of three main combat encounter spaces in the Lost Sector. It was designed to support a relatively small encounter with a few reinforcement waves and a Hive Guardian anchor at the end of the fight. Players enter from the left, while the enemy combatants defend the exit to the right. Both sides of the fight have flanking paths along the sides of the space, and the raised areas in all four corners of the room provide alternate attack angles.

The second main combat space in the Lost Sector was built to support a large, multi-wave encounter. The space has multiple lanes running along it’s length, providing numerous flanking and cover opportunities. Large cover objects break up sight lines (and the fight) across the entire space and also serve as blinds when players are moving between them.

The final encounter space, where players face the oversized boss combatant defending this Lost Sector, along with several waves of combatants in support. The space was designed to offer the same lane-based paths as the second combat encounter space, but with much more open floor through the middle to accommodate the boss combatant’s movement. Cover is also intentionally more scarce here, in order to encourage player movement but also to allow for more efficient use of player ‘super’ abilities that rely on direct line-of-sight.

At the end of the fight, a door at the rear of the space opens to reveal a path that loops back to the initial entrance into the Lost Sector.
